The Inlander

Officially released at a rowdy show at nYne a couple of weeks ago, Silver Treason's first-ever album is a variety of some of their best twangy music. The four-piece, together since 2009, effortlessly blends punk, country and bluegrass into a yee-hawin' cohesive experience — one that even people who aren't fans of pop country can enjoy. Lyrics here, written by frontman Kevin Cameron, are whip-smart and fly by at rapid speed. Catch 'em if you can.

The Inlander

"Inlander Band to Watch alumni Silver Treason are still kicking just as much country ass as ever. The twangy quartet plays danceable country-western, but with an unmistakable edge that gives them a certain punk-rock flavor, one that might be a little too sharp for your typical Texas roadhouse."

The Inlander

"Silver Treason has made country cool again in Spokane's club rock scene. The band — made up of long-respected members of the punk scene here — plays a Hank Williams/Waylon Jennings type of country, driven by the steady twanging of pedal steel guitar player, Jamie Frost. They were one of The Inlander's 2011 Bands to Watch, and put on a show that is literally impossible not to dance to."
